Airport Information
Our hotel does not operate an airport shuttle service; however, it is very easy to get to the Clyde Hotel from the following airports.
- BUS – The Glasgow airport express will take you from Glasgow International airport in just 15 minutes, and one-way tickets start from £4.50 child & £8.50 adult. The service operates every 30 minutes and tickets can be booked Nearest stop: St. Vincent Street (0.5 mile)
- *TAXI – You can find a friendly iconic black taxi readily available directly outside the terminal building on arrival. The approx. fare is £22 – £25. If you require a taxi during your stay, or on check our hotel reception staff can prebook on your behalf.
- BUS – The Stagecoach Western X77 Express will take you from Glasgow Prestwick airport to Glasgow City Centre, with one-way tickets starting from £3.30 child & £6.50 adult. The journey time takes approx. 37 minutes. Please refer to the timetable for current services.
- TRAIN – Glasgow Prestwick Airport has its own train service that operates directly from airport to Glasgow Central Station. Journey time is 45 minutes and tickets can be bought here.
- *TAXI – The licensed taxis are available on arrival outside the terminal building and are managed by Streamline taxis. The journey time is approx 30 minutes to Glasgow City Centre and the approx. fare is £45.
- BUS – Getting to Glasgow City Centre from Edinburgh International airport is straightforward. Citylink operate a service departing 24/7 every 30 minutes. Journey time is approx. 1 hour, and you can book your tickets online here.
- TRAIN – If you want to arrive by train to Glasgow from Edinburgh International airport, just take the tram from the airport to Edinburgh Park or Haymarket Station and connect onwards by train to Glasgow city.
- *TAXI – Readily available at the airport, you can avail of a taxi ride to Glasgow one way from approx. £85.00. Journey time approx. 1 hour. A private chauffeur service in a luxury vehicle can be arranged by the hotel in advance.
