Hotel Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Hotel Manager at The (New) Clyde Hotel (old Premier Inn location), Argyle Street. You will work on a full time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary.

We’re looking for an experienced General Manger with good knowledge of the three-star market, you will have an all-round knowledge of operations, with P&L, sales and marketing also being your strong points.

You will co-ordinate between all departments from the Restaurant and Kitchen to Reception and Housekeeping as well as the day’s functions supporting the company directors to ensure our levels of service are delivered consistently throughout the guest journey.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced Hotel Manager with a branded hotel background (would be desirable, but not essential)
  • Is a people-oriented leader with a willingness to build strong working relationships with their peers
  • Can demonstrate clear progression, results, and achievements
  • Has strong networking skills, particularly building on relationships with local businesses
  • Ensure that our guests are impressed with their stay.
  • Be on hand to answer any questions or queries. You’ll be more than happy to share your knowledge about our products and services, as well as the local area and surroundings.
  • Understand our systems and brand standards that enable you to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
  • Be able to deal with a problem, should it arise, and go the extra mile to solve it.
